“Brachioplasty” or arm lifts, can be a marvellous procedure for the right patient. The trade-off for reducing or eliminating substantial sag of the arms is the scar, which must extend down the arm. We place it as carefully as possible, so that it doesn’t show either in front or behind, with the arms at your sides. But it takes considerable time to fade, and all scars are permanent. This patient is shown at one year post op.
